The Man of the Year Series
One time, I was on the treadmill, pretending to be fast, but mostly just sweating, and I had a thought:
I wonder what it's like for the guys who are named People's Sexiest Man Alive-does it turn their world upside down?
I decided to write a series about the idea. Except instead of People, it's Citizen magazine (not my wittiest move, but we'll roll with it). And instead of Sexiest Man Alive, it's Man of the Year.
The first book features a mayor who falls for his political rival's grown-up daughter. The second for a pro athlete who falls for his quirky ex-high school lab partner.
Book Three was supposed to be about a billionaire. Alas, it's not meant to be, and this is now and forever more, a two book series.
